Welcome

The idea of doing the Patagonian Triathlon Expedition emerged on one side, of the enchantment that Patagonia, with its incomparable beauty and vast nature, poured over each of us, members of this project. On the other side, also born of the passion of our team for extreme sports and outdoor activities who, with the backing of a major background and experience, plus a hard physical and mental preparation, take the challenge and commitment that a venture like this requires.
This website is only one of the pieces of this dream of ours. It is intended to share this experience with you, to show the beauty of the place where it is carried out and to reveal the changes Patagonia has undergone.
Thanks for joining us!

Return from Hielo Continental.

Antek disappeared somewhere in the Ice Field for the whole month during which no one heard anything from him.
Four formidable snow storms did show him how difficult it is to gain a single meter out there.
On the fourth day Gorra Blanca peak was successfully summited and descended on G3 telemark skis. The following week weather stopped Antek from any activity due to strong winds of 150 km/h. When it got better he left Paso Marconi and in three days reached Gran Paso where was met by a few-day long storm.
Fighting for survival he continued to Italia plateau where crevasses with weak snow bridges giving way under him forced Antek to retreat to Gran Paso.
After few days of waiting for a better weather he decided to come back to Upsala Glacier where during dangerously strong storm his equipment got seriously damaged and his whole food stash and some clothing were gone with the wind.
For three days, with no food and equipment seriously reduced, Antek was walking through the mountains until he got to a farm. Where was fed by local gaucho. When finally reached Route 40 his feet were so damaged that following days wasn't able to walk at all.
At present Antek is in El Chalten, recovering and getting ready for the last part of the expedition - kayaking in Tierra del Fuego.

Since the physical challenge Triatlon Patagonico implies is enormous, the team has made a commitment to undertake an arduous training that will increase the likelihood of success in this dream. However, the physical preparation, though essential, it is not the only requirement of a project like this one. Our aspirations to success also depends on having other resources such as equipment, food and transportation. That is why we feel the need to seek support. If you are interested in being part of this dream please contact us. In gratitude, we offer presence on every page of this website, both of your logo and links to your own website, to bear your corporate image in our equipment and make it appear on the photos and videos we will produce and show in exhibitions. Also, for those who will support us with equipment, we promise to give reviews of the performance that the product has had during the expedition, here on the website and on the articles we will publish in magazines, newspapers, radio and television.
We appreciate your support.
